Passport York was unable to attempt to log you in.

Possible reasons for this error:

  • You may have tried to access the Passport York login page url directly, either by typing it in the browser or by bookmarking it.
    You should never try to access the Passport York login url (https://passportyork.yorku.ca/ppylogin/ppylogin) directly. By doing this, Passport York does not know which application you are trying to log in to. You should instead click on a website hyperlink to the application you want to access which uses the correct url. If you want to create a browser bookmark to an application, right click (option click) on the website link to that application and copy the url found there.

    Correct urls for some applications:
    Tax Forms: http://t2202a.yorku.ca
    ResNet: http://resnet.yorku.ca/
    EVote: http://evote.yorku.ca
    Enrolment: https://wrem.sis.yorku.ca/Apps/WebObjects/REM

    When you use the correct url for an application, you will be redirected to the Passport York login page, and your browser will remember which application to direct you to once you have logged in successfully.
     
  • Your browser may have "cookies" turned off or does not support them..
    Your browser must be capable of processing cookies, and must be set to accept cookies under your browser's preferences.
     
  • You may be using Safari on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) which is not compatible with Passport York authentication.
    Please use a different web browser.
